I recently had a chance to sit down and speak with Plush Recording Artist, Aaleyacis Kobana. He's been in the music industry for over 20 years, and his new record titled "Funky Baby" has been a few years in the making as well. The album takes the listener on an uplifting journey, which is important to Kobana. He stresses the importance of good positive energy. He's not just a singer. Kobana also plays keys, produces, mixes, and shoots films. Additionally, he's the owner of Plush Records, a company that not only makes records, he is into visuals, editing, and filming entertainment.

Kobana is a hard working man that's been doing his thing in music for a long time. He talks about a window of opportunity to bring funk music back. He works with younger talent, age groups that didn't have much exposure to funk music. His plan is to bring funk music to the youth and merge it with current genre .
